📢 Important School Closure Notice Due to the forecast of extreme heat, Cox Green School will be closed to students on Wednesday 24th June and Thursday 25th June. Following a review of conditions across the school site, several classrooms were already recording temperatures of 33°C, with forecasts predicting significantly higher temperatures later this week. The health, safety and wellbeing of our students and staff remain our highest priority, and after careful consideration we have taken the decision to close the school for these two days. 💻 Remote Learning Students are expected to continue learning from home. Work will be set by teachers via Microsoft Teams in line with normal timetables. Lessons will not be delivered live, but students should complete and submit work as directed. If your child is unable to access suitable IT equipment or online resources, please contact their Head of Year as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be made. 📅 Tuesday 23rd June The school will be open as normal. Students may attend in their PE kits. 📅 Friday 26th June We currently expect the school to reopen as normal. Students will also be welcome to wear their PE kits.
